24-26.4.2026 in Sibu, Sarawak, what is part of iceland of Borneo. They organized propably worlds biggest circuit boat race. Total of 244 boats were registered to take part in 9 different classes. But in the end, there was 251 boats racing! Amazing, 251 circuit boats in one race! Believe me, it was really amazing. For me it felt so unreal that it was really hard to believe it, even I was there my self.

These 9 classes were from 5 hp to 60 hp. It looked impossible how much speed they got in 5 hp class. At Friday they started quolifigation, because in grand finals it was possible to have max 15 boats in each class. The racing was really tough and real racing. But after race, in the pit, everybody were friends. And also before the race. Just as it was in Europe in old good days!!! Racing belongs to water and in the pit we need to be like one big family. And at same, help each other to make good and safe race. It is passion to all drivers, mechanics, crew member etc. And of course, because it was so big event, in the pit was possible to buy, food, drinks, clothes etc. I don’t have any idea how much there was spectators, but a lot. Tens of thousands. It was complete unusual weekend but need to say, very enjoyable and relaxing.

But unfortunately I think it is only a big dream, which will never come to happen. As you can see in the last pic after videos, most of the boats were a bit small to me. Or I am too big for them???
